Peter Salerno Honors U.S. Navy Roots on Memorial Day 2015
Navy Veteran Peter Salerno Uses His Service as Design Inspiration

As you know, Memorial Day 2015 is more than just hamburgers, fireworks and the unofficial beginning of summer. It’s a chance for all Americans to pause and honor the service and sacrifices made by our Armed Forces, fighting for our freedom around the world and protecting America’s borders. The chance to honor and remember our brave military heroes, many of whom gave their lives for our freedom, is especially dear to those men and women who have served in the U.S. Military.
For Peter Salerno of Peter Salerno Inc., Memorial Day is a chance to remember and honor those who have lost their lives in active (and reserve) duty, as well as reflect on his own service as an officer in the United States Navy.
Peter attended The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina and graduated as an Ensign in the U.S. Navy with a Business Degree. His Naval commitment gave him the ability to travel most of Europe and Western Asia. Studying art and sketching have always been a form of relaxation for Peter; being stationed in Italy was the perfect opportunity to study the masters and old world architecture first hand. After returning from the Navy and working in corporate America, Peter decided to return to his father’s business and began to apply his artistic vision to the growing family business.
As a second generation American, Peter Salerno is proud of his service in the United States Navy, and remains close to those with which he served. “It was my privilege to serve my country,” Peter says, “and it is a privilege to serve my clients to the best of my ability.”
