2020 NFL Draft Style | Official Colors of Top 10 NFL Draft Teams

The 2020 NFL Draft was nothing like drafts of the recent past. It was surreal to see newly drafted NFL players celebrating at home with only their closest relatives and loved ones, while NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell announced the draft picks from his own home. For at least one year, bear hugs and cheering fans were replaced by digital interviews and social media reactions.

One thing that didn’t change was the passion of NFL fans for their favorite franchises. From the selection of Joe Burrow by Cincinnati at #1 overall through Jedrick Wills going #10 to Cleveland, the passion of NFL fans through the top 10 picks of the 2020 draft could be seen on video chat boards on television and across the country.

How can you be sure that you rock your favorite NFL team’s colors in celebration of their 2020 draft pick? Here are the official Pantone color codes and team colors for the top 10 teams in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Green Kitchen + Bath Design Ideas for St. Patrick’s Day 2020!

Green Kitchen + Bath Design Ideas for St. Patrick’s Day 2020!

Any day is a good day to “green” your living space – but if you need a festive excuse, look no further than St. Patrick’s Day! The most famous of Irish holidays, St. Patrick’s Day is a wonderful time to get inspired by the green shades, tones and design elements that are trending in 2020.

We’re sure you’re expecting the usual fare in this article – shamrocks, green throw pillows and drapes, etc. Fear not – we’re bringing you something different!

How can you incorporate fresh greens and florals in a new and interesting way in your kitchen design? This article will help you answer those questions.

Of course, we should already be “going green” with as many design choices as possible, in an effort to reduce our carbon footprint and become more environmentally conscious. So in terms of this St. Patrick’s Day, we’re taking the idea of “going green” a bit more literally.

Green isn’t the simplest color choice to use in a kitchen or bath design in 2020. With color design trending more and more towards neutral and white tones, it’s often hard to find a place for green as more than a complementary color. But is that really a problem? Utilized properly, a complementary green tone in your design can create quite the impression.

Let’s take a look at the official Pantone green tones of Spring 2020, and a few “outside the box” design ideas to add a splash of green this spring.

Creative Home Design: Graffiti In Your House? Yes!

Be Bold: Use Graffiti In Your Home Design!

No, we haven’t gone off the deep end. Sometimes, the best designs come from “outside the box”.

After all, if the most award-winning kitchen and bath designer in North America utilizes graffiti in their showroom’s main bathroom design, then it’s something we all can consider!

Visitors to the flagship showroom of Peter Salerno Inc. at 511 Goffle Road in Wyckoff, New Jersey, are stunned by many things – the world-class showroom display being chief among them (winner of the 2015 KBIS Innovative Showroom Award). But when clients and guests to the Peter Salerno Inc. showroom step into the main showroom bathroom, they’re often shocked and inspired by what they see.

Peter Salerno hired a professional graffiti artist to create a bold, vibrant cityscape in the bathroom design. From a replica manhole cover in the center of the floor to colorful depictions of a metropolitan skyline and an elevated subway line, the artwork is audacious and vivid. The inside of the bathroom door is even “tagged” with notable initials, names and dates important to Peter Salerno, his family, and the Peter Salerno Inc. legacy.

Watch “Graffiti: The Need to Be Creative” from Peter Salerno Inc. here:

Summer 2016 design trends (as we’ve discussed in past articles) are all about blending bright, inviting colors with personal style. The blend of bold and splashy colors with personalized touches in this graffiti design are directly in line with cutting-edge home design style.

Graffiti and other urban mural motifs are a fantastic choice for city dwellers, as well as those born and raised in urban areas who want to pay homage to their personal history. If graffiti isn’t your “thing”, per say, then look beyond the artwork and take a lesson from the artist’s approach.

It’s important to respect your personal legacy and style while incorporating new elements into your home design, especially in frequently traveled areas like the kitchen and bath. Rich colors can still be comfortable and inviting when coupled with design elements that mean something to you.

Expert, award-winning custom kitchen and bath designers like Peter Salerno Inc. value the personal story of every client, weaving it into their personalized home designs. You owe it to yourself to consider that aspect of your personal style when undertaking any new design project. After all, unique personalization is the difference between a house and a home.

Will YOU Accept Our 2019 Thanksgiving Food Bank Challenge?

Will YOU Accept Our 2019 Thanksgiving Food Bank Challenge?

One look at the hashtag #FoodBankChallenge on Twitter, and you’ll see how dire the situation has gotten for many of our food banks. Around the world, food banks are woefully depleted of basic and necessary supplies. With Thanksgiving right around the corner, this is a food shortage that we need to try and correct!

The task seems daunting – but if each of us focuses on our local food banks and pantries, the mission becomes easier to manage. It all starts with finding your local food bank – our favorite resource is the Feeding America locator.

For years, our parent company Peter Salerno Inc. has pledged to donate no less than 75 turkeys every Thanksgiving season to its local food bank – the St. Andrew’s Parish Food Pantry in Westwood, NJ. St. Andrew’s is a spiritual home for Peter Salerno and his family, where Peter’s children Anthony and Gabrielle were both married.

This isn’t a statement to ‘prop ourselves up’. When broken down amongst several members of a work team, the cost of 75 turkeys isn’t that massive – and the ability to provide enough Thanksgiving main courses for over 1,000 people (1 person fed per pound of turkey) is a number that will change an entire community for the better.

Will you take Peter Salerno Inc.’s #FoodBankChallenge?

If you’re focusing on turkey, remember that simple calculation – 1 pound of turkey feeds 1 person. If you donate a 16 lb. turkey, a food pantry can feed roughly 16 people.

If your focus extends past Thanksgiving, non-perishable and shelf-stable items are your target. What food items are pantries and food banks most in need of this Thanksgiving season? According to Feeding America, these are the six most requested shelf-stable items by food banks during the fall months:

•    Boxed stuffing
•    Instant mashed potatoes
•    Canned vegetables
•    Dry macaroni
•    Cranberry sauce
•    Canned Pumpkin

What can YOU do to take steps to assist those in need and give back this Thanksgiving season? According to Peter Salerno, it’s all about targeted giving.

“Instead of helping dozens of charities, choose two or three that resonate with you to maximize your effectiveness,” Peter encourages. “Imagine how much better a world (we’d have) if everyone who could, would take action.”

Keep in touch with us – and the movement – using #FoodBankChallenge on Twitter. Let us know how you’re helping give back this Thanksgiving season!
