Included in this design is a stunning feature made from reclaimed tin – rumored to have been owned by Al Capone himself! The tin was reclaimed from a Chicago site that was once a speakeasy, which adds even more validity to the claim. The rumored backstory of Al Capone owning the tin that now finds its home in this stunning bath design only adds to its mystique, luxury and charm.
The outstanding tile design in this bathroom was imagined by Marissa DePiero of Stratta, The Tile Boutique. Other notable features in this 2016 Peter Salerno Inc. custom bath design include the porcelain tile floor which mimics wood plank, a walk-in shower and the tub itself (a true centerpiece of the design).

It’s impossible to describe what each of the following moments meant to Peter Salerno, his team and his family, but we’ll do our very best to convey it as best we can. It truly was a wonderful year, both personally and professionally, and a wonderful platform on which to build a successful 2016!

Peter Salerno Becomes a 30-Time National Design Award Winner
At the 2015 KBIS convention is Las Vegas, Peter Salerno Inc. was honored with multiple design awards, as well as the 1st place award for Most Innovative Showroom (Small). It was an exciting moment for Peter Salerno and his award-winning design clients (the Connors), as well as a sense of accomplishment for Peter and his team.

With his 2015 KBIS awards, Peter Salerno and Peter Salerno Inc. became 30-time national kitchen and bath design award winners, making them the most awarded North American design firm this century. This is a point of pride for Peter and his team, but it also brings a sense of responsibility.
Peter Salerno believes awards only mean something if you keep working hard and remain inspired. Peter promises every new client his very best work, and who knows – maybe your custom kitchen or bath design from Peter will be his next award winner!
Peter Salerno Inc. Sends Kitchen Designs to Russia

Earlier this year, the official Peter Salerno Inc. blog brought you exclusive access as Peter Salerno visited Moscow to discuss the design, construction and delivery of gorgeous new custom kitchens for an international client. It was Peter’s first Russian client, and the team couldn’t have been more thrilled to get started.
“It is amazing to think that our designs can now be seen in Moscow,” Peter Salerno said in a recent conference call. “We are excited to do even more custom design work for international clients.”
Peter Salerno Welcomes His First Grandchild
It was with great joy that we welcomed Jesse Caren Salerno into the world! Jesse is the daughter of proud parents Anthony and Eve Salerno, and the first grandchild of Peter Salerno and his wife, Tracy! (Special congratulations also go out to Eve’s family, the Turners!)

Jesse was born on Tuesday, September 8th, at 9:10 p.m. She weighed in at a healthy 6 pounds, 5 ounces, and was 20 inches long. Anthony and Eve were blessed to be surrounded by the love of all four of Jesse’s grandparents, as well as Jesse’s ecstatic aunt and uncle, Gabrielle and Brian Mayer, and her uncle Ben Turner!
Peter Salerno and Miele Create Custom Showroom Vignette
On Wednesday, November 4, 2015, Peter Salerno Inc. proudly held a debut celebration for its new transitional kitchen showroom display at its gorgeous Wyckoff, NJ showroom. The event was attended by a “who’s who” of the kitchen design, appliance and custom design world.

The new transitional kitchen vignette is not only a showcase of Peter Salerno Inc.’s award-winning transitional kitchen design efforts, but of the new, state-of-the-art Miele kitchen appliance line.
The centerpiece of the new transitional kitchen display is a stunning kitchen island, topped with a beautiful counter designed by Galaxy Glass. The thick glass slab is embedded with stainless steel mesh for a gorgeous, clean transitional design feel, and allows the user to opt between a soft white light or color wheel display option.
Each of the Miele appliances showcased in this transitional kitchen design vignette is constructed with the same look and feel- from the construction and materials to the display and functionality. Every detail is methodically crafted to provide a seamless user experience.

Fans Vote Peter Salerno Inc. Into KBIS Innovative Showroom Finals
KBIS Innovative Showroom Contest, Presented by the NKBA

Thanks to a late push and outstanding support from voters, Peter Salerno Inc. was named a Finalist in the KBIS Innovative Showroom Awards contest for 2015.
Peter Salerno Inc. finished 2nd overall in the online voting, presented through Facebook by KBIS, and took 1st place in the public voting for Best Independent Small Showroom.
“It is truly an honor to make the finals of this competition,” Peter Salerno commented. “We take great pride in our showroom, and to be selected by the voters with so many outstanding designers and showrooms in the running – I’m very thankful.”
KBIS is a national convention sponsored by the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA), and the annual KBIS event has become a “must-attend” conference for top kitchen and bath designers from North America (and around the world).
Peter Salerno Inc. has received more NKBA design awards than any other North American custom kitchen and bath design firm over the last decade, but the KBIS Innovative Showroom Awards was a special case. The entire preliminary round of voting was done by the public, making it truly a “fan vote”. It’s for this reason that Peter Salerno and his team take special pride in making the finals of the competition.

Several facets of the Peter Salerno Inc. showroom have recently received an “upgrade”. This includes the showpiece “La Cornue” kitchen at the front of the showroom (seen in the top photo of this article), which features a gorgeous French blue La Cornue Chateau range, La Cornue Flamberge rotisserie, and beautiful custom cabinetry. The recessed ceiling was upgraded with a stunning blue crystal inset, adding to the Swarovski crystal which already encrusted the custom tin ceiling.
Peter Salerno and his team will be in attendance at the 2015 KBIS Conference, and hopefully will be in for a pleasant surprise when the KBIS Innovative Showroom Awards winners are announced!
