Why Is It Still So Cold? Get Warm With The Miele Generation 6000 Coffee System

Hey. Mother Nature. It’s SPRING. The middle of April. Stop playing games. We’re all getting very depressed out here.

We’ve read all the theories. “Global warming is causing colder temperatures”? Look, it probably makes scientific sense, but it doesn’t make… you know, logic sense. There was an article about something called “Arctic oscillation”, which seemed promising. The theory was that global patterns had changed, based on geopotential heights, and – okay, we have no idea what any of those words mean.

What we do know is that it’s still way too cold, and we are so darn happy we have a Miele Generation 6000 Coffee System in the showroom.

When Peter Salerno Inc.’s showroom was named Most Innovative Small Showroom at the 2015 KBIS convention in Las Vegas, it wasn’t just an award – it was a responsibility. There are several new highlights to the Generation 6000 Whole Bean Coffee System including a new
CupSensor, EasyClick Milk System and One Touch for Two features. Exclusive to Miele, the
CupSensor automatically adjusts the height of the spout to the optimum position for different cup and glass sizes.

Whether a tall latté macchiato or a dainty espresso is being prepared, the central spout automatically adjusts to the cup’s rim and eliminates splashing. The CupSensor even reacts precisely to beverages made with milk by raising the spout slightly to make room for the incoming espresso. Also new is the EasyClick milk system, which is a dishwasher-safe glass milk flask that effortlessly clicks into place at the front of the machine. And for easy maintenance, the new Miele Coffee Systems now automatically rinse all milk spouts and hoses with water after each use.

The One Touch for Two feature allows the user to prepare two coffee specialties such as cappuccino and latté macchiato at the same time, thus reducing prep time when two or more drinks are being served. For several months, we’ve been telling you about the exciting showroom renovations happening at Peter Salerno Inc. in Wyckoff, NJ. Named the most innovative small showroom at the 2015 KBIS convention, Peter Salerno Inc.’s showroom is a blend of high-end appliances, classic craftsmanship and modern, transitional design.

Several weeks ago, we asked you to vote on the tile you liked best for our brand new transitional kitchen design, to be placed in the front of the Peter Salerno Inc. showroom. The new transitional kitchen design will be punctuated by the new Generation 6000 line of Miele appliances, including the revolutionary Miele combi-steam oven and the new Generation 6000 coffee maker.

After receiving a plethora of votes (far more than we expected!) over social media, in-person showroom votes and the official Peter Salerno Inc. blog, the majority of voters chose the tile that you see being installed in these exclusive showroom photos!

New Miele Transitional Kitchen Construction Underway at Peter Salerno Inc.

Exciting things are once again underway at Peter Salerno Inc. – this time, it’s inside Peter’s award-winning showroom in Wyckoff, New Jersey!

Over the last few months, we’ve told you about the new transitional kitchen vignette that is coming to the Peter Salerno Inc. showroom, featuring the latest Generation 6000 line of Miele products, including the flagship Miele combi-steam oven. Well, a new showroom display can’t take shape without a little construction, and this week kicked things off in a big way!

Our good friends at Green Demolitions in Fairfield, New Jersey, were on hand to begin the showroom construction and renovation project. It was sad to say goodbye to the beautiful sage green kitchen display that adorned the front-left corner of the Peter Salerno Inc. showroom, but the results we have in store are well worth the changes!

It’s a big project, and as we always do on the official Peter Salerno Inc. blog, we love to “pull the veil back” and give you an inside peek at what’s going on in the Most Innovative Small Showroom of 2015. You can bet that Peter Salerno and his team are making sure the most innovative showroom stays that way!

Miele Combi-Steam Oven: Features & Functionality
Miele’s Combi-Steam oven offers the full functionality of a steam oven AND the full functionality of a convection oven in one appliance. Beyond that, the combi-steam feature allows you to use both steam and convection technologies together, making this Miele oven the only appliance you need to prepare every possible facet and course of a meal – at the same time!

The Miele Combi-Steam oven allows users to pre-set up to 10 programmable stages in a single cooking process, adapt the moisture setting from 0% to 100%, and comes with an on-board wired roast probe. The steam oven, convection oven, and combi-steam oven 3-in-1 features allow for perfect baking, cooking and roasting results in any combination.

The oven also features an “XL Cavity” – in other words, the interior oven space is expansive, allowing for the preparation of large and/or multiple dishes. Complete meals can be prepared for multiple people at the same time.
