Why Do You NEED a Custom Range Hood For Your Kitchen?

Why Do You NEED a Custom Range Hood For Your Kitchen?

You’re ready to create or update the custom kitchen design of your dreams. Working with the very best kitchen designers (like 30-time national award winner Peter Salerno Inc.), you’ve settled on the finest luxury appliances, the perfect counter surface and backsplash, statement lighting, and a gorgeous kitchen island.

Using reclaimed tin in kitchen designs: just one way Peter Salerno Inc. creates the custom range hood of your dreams.

But what will you do to take your dream kitchen to the next level? What will make your kitchen the one-of-a-kind custom creation that will truly make it the envy of your guests?

Experts like Peter Salerno, CMKBD, agree that a custom range hood for your cooktop and range is the perfect statement piece to adorn any truly unique kitchen design.

“The hood and refrigerator are key elements in creating the ultimate kitchen,” Peter Salerno Inc. notes. “We have our own designs custom-made to our exact specifications so each of our clients has one-of-a-kind pieces, made right here in New Jersey.”

A custom range hood, when created masterfully, reflects the taste and personal style of the kitchen’s owner while adding a tone of elegance and unique backstory to your kitchen.

Imagine being able to tell your family, friends and guests that your range hood is made from reclaimed tin collected from classic gas stations along Route 66. Think about the elegant, opulent story your kitchen will tell if your range hood is custom-made from materials taken from a speakeasy once owned by Al Capone or an historic jazz club in New Orleans.

Your kitchen can tell these stories with its very own custom range hood, designed exclusively for you by Peter Salerno Inc. and its network of master craftsmen and artisans. Working with its own staff of skilled artisans, as well as industry leaders and innovators like Rangecraft, Peter Salerno Inc. will create a state-of-the-art, unique range hood for your kitchen that is both fully functional and truly one-of-a-kind.

A Look Back: World-Class Kitchen Designer Travels to Russia [PHOTOS]

A Look Back: World-Class Kitchen Designer Travels to Russia [PHOTOS]

During these uncertain times (with the Peter Salerno Inc. showroom closed due to COVID-19 restrictions), we’re taking a fond look back at some of the milestones we’ve covered for Peter Salerno Inc. over the last 7 years. Without question, one of the highlights of this span was Peter Salerno’s 2014 trip to Russia, and the opportunity to bring his award-winning custom kitchen and bath designs to Moscow. Enjoy!

— Original Article Content —
Over the week of October 20, 2014, Peter Salerno (of Peter Salerno Inc.) and his good friend Robert Zampolin, owner of Zampolin & Associates Architects, traveled to Moscow, Russia, to work on their current project, a super-exclusive development.

Peter Salerno spent a wonderful 72 hours bringing his kitchen designs to Russia.

The lots in the new Moscow development are between $5m-$10m and the houses are $10m added to the lot. Features and amenities built into the development include a golf course, country club, man-made lakes and a zoo.

Working on the Moscow development with Bob Zampolin was a dream for Peter Salerno, who relishes the opportunity to bring his award-winning kitchen and bath designs to an international clientele. According to Peter, it was never more than 25 degrees Fahrenheit outside, but he was so excited he could barely feel the cold.

The Russian design team (and the Russian people in general) greeted Peter with warmth and afforded him wonderful hospitality during his entire stay, which included dinners at world-renowned restaurants, some amazing bottles of vodka (which we’ll cover in a later article), and unforgettable images of Moscow, the Kremlin and more.

Below, enjoy some exclusive photos taken by Peter Salerno and Robert Zampolin on their recent design trip to Moscow.

Kitchen Design Spotlight Series: “Farm Meets City Sleek”

Kitchen Design Spotlight Series: “Farm Meets City Sleek”

In our first edition of the Kitchen Design Spotlight Series, Design Your Lifestyle featured a traditional kitchen with some well-placed modern aesthetic features called “The Angles Are In the Details”.

Our second Kitchen Design Spotlight Series piece focuses on a spectacular kitchen design photo gallery that manages to combine rustic charm with uptown chic. “Farm Meets City Sleek” is a lustrous transitional kitchen designed by the team at Peter Salerno Inc. – the most award-winning custom kitchen and bath design firm in North America of the last 15 years.

One’s first glance at this transitional kitchen design is bathed in white and ambient light, a nod to the recent kitchen design trend where whites and neutrals are used as the primary focus of the overall color design scheme. From the custom Maestro Rosolino cabinetry (a trademark of Peter Salerno Inc. design) to the kitchen island base, this kitchen is adorned with white.

Notes of gray and neutral complement the design, through the custom range hood and counter to the island countertop and wood flooring. One of our favorite aspects of this kitchen design is the 2×8 mixed metal and glass mosaic backsplash over the range, created by the team at Stratta, the Tile Boutique.

The appliance features are a mix of the finest names in kitchen appliance furnishings: Miele, Sub-Zero and Wolf. We also adore the statement island lighting, a series of Exter 16-Jar Pendants from Pottery Barn. As an added bonus to the homeowners, that gorgeous wood flooring is actually the existing floor in the kitchen.

This Peter Salerno Inc. transitional kitchen design is reminiscent of upscale “farm to table” dining, with a touch of countryside charm melded into a truly modern kitchen design. We hope you love it as much as we do!

World-Class Kitchen Designer Offers COVID-19 Friendly ‘Online Design’ Service

Peter Salerno Inc. is proud to announce the launch of “Design Online!”, a 100% online service for prospective custom kitchen design and bath design clients to achieve the luxury kitchen or bath of their dreams.

Inspired by the recent COVID-19 pandemic and the necessity for many to exercise social distancing, Peter Salerno and his team developed the “Design Online!” system to accommodate kitchen and bath design clients in these uncertain times.

Peter Salerno and his team have personally felt the touch of COVID-19, with coronavirus cases in Bergen County, temporarily shuttering their Wyckoff, NJ showroom. While service calls and showroom appointments are under mandatory suspension at this time, Peter is committed to providing design solutions for you in the toughest of times.
