Why You Should (Still) Love the Miele Generation 6000 Range

Why You Should (Still) Love the Miele Generation 6000 Range

There are many incredible, state-of-the-art kitchen ranges on the market today. We’re (still) in love with the Miele Generation 6000 Range.

Never mind that it’s the centerpiece of Peter Salerno Inc.‘s jaw-dropping transitional kitchen design in its Wyckoff, NJ Showroom (voted Most Innovative Small Showroom by KBIS). Never mind that it’s easy to pick a front-running, world-renowned appliance maven like Miele as the brand of choice for sleek and functional ranges.

If you take away the brand, the accolades and the honors, the Generation 6000 Miele Range is still top of its class.

It’s a range so incredible, Miele is comfortable referring to it simply as “The Miele Range”.

From the official Miele Range press release:

“For the first time ever, a consumer has the option to have one unifying design throughout their kitchen,” said Nick Ord, President of Miele USA. “Each piece complements the other in form and function and ensures consistent and professional results.”

The Ranges, offered in All Gas, All Electric, Induction and Dual Fuel and ranging from 30” to the flagship 48” model allow for the ultimate flexibility. Many of the innovations available in Generation 6000 can be found in the Range to create perfect harmony in a full suite of kitchen appliances. From M-Touch controls that offer effortless navigation to the ComfortSwivel handle that moves ergonomically with the motion of the user’s wrist, no detail was left out. Precise results can be expected from the M Pro Dual Stacked Burner System with up to 19,500 BTU and TrueSimmer capability and for ease of cleaning, the ComfortClean grates are dishwasher-safe.

The Rangetops, with 30”, 36” and 48” units available, deliver the ultimate in versatility – in both form and function. Featuring the M Pro Dual Stacked Burner System, users have the ability to go from sear to TrueSimmer with the turn of a knob. The M Pro Grill and M Pro Infrared Griddle available for Rangetops offer high power output, even heat distribution and constant control –allowing for the most resourceful culinary preparation.

As the reigning Most Innovative Small Showroom in North America (awarded by KBIS and the NKBA), Peter Salerno Inc. has an obligation to present new, innovative and outstanding designs, appliances and technology in its Wyckoff, New Jersey showroom. When Peter Salerno saw the Miele flagship 48″ range in person at the Oberg & Lindquist boutique appliance studio, he knew it had to be featured in his new design vignette.

“I’m thrilled to have the new Miele 48-inch range as the centerpiece of our new transitional kitchen showroom vignette,” Peter Salerno said. “It truly is the definition of modern transitional design.”

That quote, incidentally, is from Peter Salerno inc.’s Miele transitional kitchen showroom vignette launch from nearly 3 years ago. When reached for comment regarding his updated feelings about the Miele Range, Peter said simply, “The same applies.”

Need a convection oven? The Miele Range has it. M Touch display panel with a 35-degree tilt for access and visibility? You bet. Four distinct power options – All Gas, All Electric, Induction and Duel Fuel? You guessed it.

Discover the CornuFé Series From La Cornue

A Look At The La Cornue CornuFé Series

Note: Portions of this article are taken from an original series run by this blog.

Ever since Albert Dupuy invented the first La Cornue oven over a century ago, the company has stood at the forefront of cooking design, craftsmanship and innovation. As such, La Cornue has developed a reputation as one of its industry’s leaders, and one of the world’s most luxurious brand names in the world of kitchen design.

Our parent company, Peter Salerno Inc., is proud to not only offer La Cornue’s outstanding line of cooking range products, but to display four La Cornue pieces in our beautiful showroom – a CornuFé range, a CornuFé 1908, a Flamberge Rotisserie, and an absolutely stunning Château range.

Much of our partnership with La Cornue is thanks to the tireless work of our business ally and friend Craig Kmiecik, the East Coast Territory Manager for La Cornue at Purcell Murray Company. For over 30 years, Purcell Murray has personified culinary passion and provided the most exquisite brands of appliances, including La Cornue ovens.

In our opinion, the La Cornue product line begins with the CornuFé Series, the most streamlined and space-efficient line of La Cornue cooking ranges. Although your CornuFé range may be smaller than the CornuFé 1908 or Château range, it certainly does not lack in diversity, power, or beauty.

La Cornue CornuFé Range Specs and Info

Each CornuFé range boasts a choice of either one or two electric convection ovens, which provide seven distinct cooking modes. This allows the CornuFé the versatility needed to fulfill any recipe or culinary creation imaginable. The French enamel side-swing doors allow tremendous ease of entry and motion, and each CornuFé range comes with four interior oven racks – two flat and two dropped. In addition, the CornuFé includes two enamel baking trays and a trivet.

Each of the seven distinct cooking modes in CornuFé range ovens – thaw & serve, convection oven, convection broiling, convection assisted, conventional oven, browning and warming – covers its own array of recipes, foods and preparations. From the even-heat baking of the convection oven mode, to door-closed broiling for meat and fish, to simple crisping of quiches and pizza using the warming feature, the CornuFé range is versatile enough to handle the needs of any chef, home or professional.

The CornuFé range also has a French-inspired five burner cooktop that combines ample cooking space with unmatched power. The cooktop boasts a central, 17,500 BTU burner, three 12,000 BYU burners, and one 6,000 BTU simmer burner. As an optional extra feature, your CornuFé range can also handle a griddle on the cooktop.

Beyond the sheer power, versatility and cooking options the CornuFé range provides, the line is available in eight beautiful colors and three trim accents, which can be combined to match the taste of the owner. CornuFé ranges are available in Gloss Black, Matte Black, Pure White, Ivory White, Provence Blue, Royal Blue (the newest color option), Dark Navy Blue or Stainless Steel, and accented with Satin Chrome, Satin Chrome and Polished Copper, or Satin Chrome and Polished Brass trim.

The CornuFé series is available in two sizes: the CornuFé 90 (90 cm width, or 35.4 inches) and the CornuFé 110 (110 cm width, or 43 inches).
