KBIS 2017’s Tiny Home Challenge: Student Edition

One of the most entertaining new aspects of KBIS 2017 is sure to be the Tiny Home Challenge: Student Edition. Based loosely on the hit HGTV show and NKBA’s ingenuity, entrants will capitalize on the “tiny house challenge” trend and compete to win fantastic tech/gadget prizes. The esteemed panel of judges for the KBIS 2017 Tiny Home Challenge: Student Edition includes Peter Salerno (CMKBD), NKBA member and most award-winning NKBA/KBIS designer since 2003.

NKBA and KBIS NeXT Present the 2017 30 Under 30

The prestigious “2017 30 Under 30” list was released by the NKBA, and its slate of young design professionals will be in attendance at KBIS 2017 as part of the KBIS NeXT series. The 30 Under 30 Awards were created in 2013 to recognize the elite young future of the industry and promote their growth through recognition, education and career enhancement opportunities.

The 2017 NKBA 30 Under 30 Awards inductees will be a centerpiece of the KBIS 2017 convention. Their research, work and team-building focus will conclude with a KBISNeXT 2017 stage presentation and question-and-answer session on January 11, 2017.
