Easter and Passover are holidays with positive, inspirational symbolism. They are times for renewal, restoration, invigoration and a fresh, optimistic outlook on the future. Our faith in fresh design was restored a few months ago when Pantone named Greenery its 2017 Color of the Year. Since then, bursts of fresh, natural color have found their way back into home design. Greens, blues, pinks and yellows have joined whites, taupes and neutrals on the design palette for Spring 2017, bringing a little “outdoors to the indoors” and providing a breath of fresh air to home design, runways and industrial design.
If you’re a fan of bright, airy color, you don’t have to dread hitting the “refresh” button on your kitchen design or bath design this year. The old notion that a dark kitchen has to be filled with dark appliances, black counters and cold metallic finishes is a thing of the past!
We love the trend of greens (Greenery, Kale) and light blues (Niagara, Island Paradise) in home design this Spring.
